- Neutron spectroscopy in condensed matter physics.
- Supported metal nanoparticle catalysis
- Lattice dynamics in disordered oxides,
- Lattice dynamics and magnetic excitations interplay in superconductors
- Density functional theory and for lattice dynamics analysis
- Ab-initio molecular dynamics to study diffusion and disordering affects
Technical Developments
- Development of new instrumentation for neutron scattering (triple axis spectrometers).
- Experimental techniques: Neutron spectroscopy, X-ray absorption spectroscopy, IR, Raman, adsorption isotherms, TPD
Computational/theoretical methods
Ab-initio molecular dynamics simulations, density functional theory calculations. Extensive use of of Monte-Carlo ray-tracing simulations.
