Thermal neutron diffractometer for single-crystal and fibre diffraction
D19 is a valuable tool for the study of:
- Organometallic complexes
- Hydrogen-bonded systems
- Mineral composition
- Changes of structure with temperature
- Biological molecules and small proteins
Here an example taken from a study of hydrogen bonding in a phosphorium aryl axide. This single crystal neutron structure was measured on D19.
