FLYNN for ISIS and ANSTO
In 2010-2012,, the ILL team built two filling stations called "FLYNN" for ISIS and ANSTO partners.
Machine characteristics:
- 3He polarisation > 70%
- 3He pumping rate of > 1 bar litre per hour
- Any desired cell pressure up to 4 bars
- 6 optical pumping cells
- 3 Ytterbium fiber lasers (3x15 Watt)
- Electric motorisation for the titanium compressor
- Coils able to "open" i.e. slide along chassis to give access to NSF cells
