Stray Magnetic Field and Siting Issues on SAM

The magnetic forces measured on SAM with the 8 T horizontal field magnet 239OXHV21 remain below 2 and 10 daN when the field is perpendicular and parallel to the beam respectively. This magnet can therefore be used at nominal field on SAM.
