Liquid Pressure Cell 30PL50AL12

This cell is designed to simultaneously measure the dielectric properties of the sample. It is mostly made from the aluminium alloy 7049A-T6 and the pressure is generated using an automated pressure generator with or without separator. The maximum pressure is 500 MPa, i.e. 5 kbar up to 100°C.

Within the bore of the cell body, there is a coaxial cylinder surrounding a rod. Both the hollow cylinder and the rod, the outer and inner electrodes of the capacitor, respectively, are also made of the aluminum alloy EN AW 7049A-T6. This cell is generally used on IN16B but can be also used on other instruments with or without the electrodes and dedicated sample stick.
