Liquid Pressure Cell 12PL60TZ12

This cell is made from TiZr alloy and provides a Ø12 x 56 mm3 sample volume, i.e. 6.3 ml. A separator may be used when the amount of available sample is low (6 ml required).

It can also be provided with inserts producing a flat sample (1 or 2 mm thicknesses). These inserts are made from aluminium alloy EN AW-7049A-T6 and the sample volumes are respectively 10 x 47 x 1 and 47 x 10 x 2 mm3, i.e. 0.45 and 0.90 ml. It is also possible to use an insert to produce a sample with a toroidal shape.

The pressure is generated using a hydraulic press with or without separator. The maximum pressure is 600 MPa, i.e. 6 kbar up to 100°C.
