Single crystal

Hydrogen bonding in a phosphorium aryl axideDark grey: carbon, light grey: hydrogen, red: oxygen, green: phosphorus.

Single crystal

D19 is a valuable tool for the study of:

  • Organometallic complexes
  • Hydrogen-bonded systems
  • Mineral composition
  • Changes of structure with temperature
  • Biological molecules and small proteins

Here an example taken from a study of hydrogen bonding in a phosphorium aryl axide. This single crystal neutron structure was measured on D19.
