XtremeD with 15T

We present below the magnetic forces measured on XtremeD with the 15 T vertical field magnet 158OXHV26.

The radial and vertical maximum forces remain respectively below 12 and 182 daN at the maximum field of 15 T at the three take-off angles 43.5°, 90° and 120°. The cryomagnet can therefore be used up to nominal field with a distance of 320 mm between the outgoing window of the collimation and the magnet tail, and a distance of 110 mm between the magnet tail and the ROC of the detector.
