Visit of a delegation from Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation and Osaka University

A delegation from Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation and Osaka University, led by Vice President Mr. Kenji Takahashi and Prof. Massaki Sugiyama, visited the ILL on 26 August 08 2017 and were received by Jérôme Beaucour, Head of the ILL’s Industrial Liaison Unit, and ILL scientists.

Great interest was expressed in neutron techniques for characterizing steel products and fabrication processes and the group visited D20 with Thomas Hansen, SALSA with Thilo Pirling and Sandra Cabeza and D50-tomo with Duncan Atkins.
