"Recent results at Moto and Porto"
Bratislav Lukic and Jiazhou ShenInstitut Laue-Langevin, France
The ILL has recently expanded its neutron imaging capabilities through the commissioning of new instruments that together provide a complete portfolio for (advanced) neutron imaging to the user community. MoTo, the monochromatic imaging instrument located adjacent to well-established NeXT, offers unique possibilities for highly sensitive techniques such as polarized neutron imaging and grating interferometry. PorTo, the new micro-imaging neutron tomography station currently installed on the H113 guide and scheduled to operate one out of every three cycles, delivers high-resolution tomographic imaging with the capability for operando and in-situ experiments at the laboratory scale. This presentation will showcase some key examples from the last cycle, which was the first user operation cycle of MoTo and the commissioning cycle of PorTo, and will reflect on future perspectives of neutron imaging capabilities at ILL in general.
