Juan Rodriguez Carvajal Honored with Gold Insignia by the GE3C
On the 8th of November, Juan Rodriguez Carvajal received the prestigious Gold Insignia from the Spanish Crystallographic Association (Grupo Especializado de Cristalografía y Crecimiento Cristalino - GE3C). This award is the highest honour bestowed by the GE3C and recognises individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of crystallography. Juan's contributions have significantly shaped the field, particularly through his work in crystallographic data analysis and software development.

Madeleine Geers Wins the 2024 Malvern Panalytical Thesis Prize
Madeleine Geers, a former PhD student who conducted her research at the Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) has been awarded this prestigious recognition is given to outstanding doctoral theses in the field of crystallography.
Madeleine was invited to present her work at the annual Crystallography Winter Meeting held on the 28th-29th of October at Milton Hill House. Her thesis, focused on innovative methodologies in crystallographic analysis, has received high praise for its significant contributions to the field.
