OrientExpress
Test Laue neutron-diffractometer

Transfering and oriented sample to a new sample holder. Here OrientExpress is set in the backscattering geometry.
Sample transfer
A single neutron Laue pattern is usually enough to find the sample orientation and then rotate it to the desired orientation. Then the oriented sample can be glued at the tip of the sample holder which will be used for measurements on the ILL spectrometers.
