Diamond nanopowders, which show large reflectivity for low-energy neutrons, are promising materials for applications in neutron physics. We report the results of the theoretical research on the propagation of slow neutrons in such nano-dispersed medium. We discuss a model of neutron interaction with diamond nanoparticles as well as the contribution of different physical phenomena. We analyze obtained Monte Carlo results of neutron albedo and compare these results with existing experimental data.
