1990: 1st year Master student's (M1) internship (4 months) at CNRS Thiais and L'Oréal R&D, Laboratory of Physical-Chemistry of Biopolymers (formerly UMR CNRS 27), now Institut de Chimie et des Matériaux Paris-Est (ICMPE), Thiais, France, under research contract with L'Oréal, Applied Research Labs, Chevilly Larue, France.
1990-1991: 2nd year Master student's (M2) internship (1 year) at CNRS and L'Oréal R&D, Thiais, France, under research contract with L'Oréal, Applied Research Labs, Chevilly Larue, France.
Topic: Development of analytical and preparative separation techniques (HPLC, ultrafiltration) for the selective extraction of high added-value lipids from dairy fats.
1991: Master's degree Chemistry and Physical-Chemistry of Polymers, Université Pierre et Marie Curie - Paris VI (now part of Sorbonne Université).
1991: 4-month (Sep.- Dec.) research contract with L'Oréal R&D to complete the M2 internship work at CNRS Thiais.
1992-1995: PhD Thesis at Université Paris-Saclay (formerly URA CNRS 1218, now Institut Galien Paris-Saclay) and CEA Paris-Saclay Research Center, Saclay, France.
Topic: Incorporation of polyschharide derivatives into model biological systems: monolayers, lamellar phases and vesicles.
1996-1997: Post-doctoral position (Humboldt fellow) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Physics Department, Biohysics group (E22), Garching, Germany.
Topic: Binding of actin filaments to model biological surfaces using neutron reflectometry.
1997-2001: 5-year scientist position at Institut Laue-Langevin, Large Scale Structures group, Grenoble, France. Instrument scientist responsible of the SANS instruments D11 and D22, and of the D16 diffractometer.
2001-present: Staff scientist at Institut Laue-Langevin, Large Scale Structures group, Grenoble, France. Instrument scientist responsible of the D16 instrument.

1992-1995: PhD fellow of the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR).
1996-1997: Post-doctoral fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation.
