XOP plugins for IGOR Pro

IGOR Pro External Operations (XOPs)

Igor Pro, from WaveMetrics, is an interactive software environment for experimentation with scientific and engineering data and for the production of publication-quality graphs and page layouts. Used by tens of thousands of technical professionals since its introduction in 1989, Igor Pro combines powerful tools with an easy to use, point and click interface for the casual user together and a programming environment for the sophisticated user.

Igor Pro’s plugin technology extends the built-in functionality with custom tools for data acquisition, instrument control and computational tasks. We provide a few plugins which may help you perform neutron scattering experiments.

ModBus XOP (v1.08 - March 2020)

Command line operations described here are added to Igor Pro. Modbus adds no menu items or dialogs to Igor. The exact settings you use depend on the instrument you are talking to. The important thing is that you know what your instrument expects and what the Modbus operations do so that you can coordinate them.
