 I. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
    -------------------


     . PC under 32 bits operating systems (Windows NT,2k, 9x(x=5,8))
     . graphical color screen with 1024*768 minimum resolution


 II. HOW TO INSTALL WinPLOTR:
     -----------------------


   The 'WinPLOTR.ZIP' file contains the beta version of WinPLOTR and some tools (FullProf,
   DicVol, Treor ...) that can be executed from the WinPLOTR Graphical
   User Interface.

   To install programs, settings and documentation files:

   1. copy 'winplotr.zip' file on your hard disk
        ex: c:\temp

   2. unzip 'winplotr.zip' file:
         ex: c:\temp> pkunzip winplotr

      The following files will be expanded in the current directory.

      Winplotr.zip file contains:
       . readme.txt:         this file
       . install.exe:        WinPLOTR install procedure
       . winplotr.exe:       WinPLOTR executable file
       . winplotr.set:       WinPLOTR settings file
       . winplotr.ins:       WinPLOTR user's guide (text mode)
       . winplotr.htm:       WinPLOTR user's guide (HTML language)
       . winplotr.hlp:       WinPLOTR HELP
       . winplotr.new:       What's new in WinPLOTR
       . winplotr_epdic.pdf: WinPLOTR paper for EPDIC7
       . windic.exe:         DICVOL91 windows version (D. Louer)
       . windic.ins:         DICVOL91 windows version user's guide
       . wtreor90.exe:       TREOR90 windows version (P.E. Werner)
       . treor.ins:          TREOR90 user's guide
       . mendel.exe:         Neutron periodic table (tool for WinPLOTR)
       . supercel.exe:       SuperCELL windows version (search of
                             commensurate super-cell or incommensurate
                             propagation vector)

       . and all the files needed to run the Windows version of FullProf,i.e.:

          - wfp2k.exe     ---- FullProf.2k executable file for Windows (static allocation)
          - fp2k.exe      ---- FullProf.2k executable file for DOS
          - lf90.eer      ---- File for run-time errors
          - fullprof.dir  ---- Starting directory for fullprof
          - fullprof.ins  ---- Manual of the program (text-file)
          - fp_frame.htm  ---- HTML version of the manual to be used
          - fp_toc.htm         locally with a browser (Netscape, ...)
          - fp_text.htm
          - fullprof.ps   ---- Introduction to FullProf. PostScript file.


          -  Series of PCR, DAT, INT files for testing FullProf.2k in
             different conditions (see examples.txt file)

   3. execute install.exe:
       ex: c:\temp> install

       By following the instructions, this program will install
       WinPLOTR and FullProf automatically and create  WinPLOTR
       and Fullprof environment variables if necessary.


   4. reboot your PC if necessary (see 3.)


 III. HOW TO EXECUTE WinPLOTR ?
      --------------------------

      WinPLOTR can be executed by clicking on an 'alias' or icon of the
      desktop, or by invoking WinPLOTR from a DOS window.
      If WinPLOTR application has been associated to particular data
      file extension, it can be display by WinPLOTR just by double
      clicking on data file.
