D11 with 17T
Ted's Magnet (17T)
Stray Magnetic Field and Siting Issues on D11
We present the magnetic forces measured on D11 with the 17T horizontal field magnet of Ted Forgan and Elizabeth Blackburn. from the experience gained with D22, the measurements was performed with the old goniometer.
The forces are quite low and the use of this 17T magnet is permitted up to nominal field with that goniometer.
