The ILL is dedicated to helping its visiting researchers to make the most of its facilities. Neutron beams and instrument access are provided free of charge for proposers of accepted experiments.

Proposal Round608 proposals were submitted to this round. They will be evaluated at the ILL Subcommittee Meetings on 13-14 April. Long Term ProposalsThe ILL has recently decided to allow users from its member countries to apply for long-term beamtime, by submitting a Long Term Proposal (LTP). LTP are granted to ILL users for projects that extend over several cycles if it can be demonstrated that they bring extra resources or capabilities that are of benefit to users in general. Users are reminded that LAMP, the IDL-based data inspection and analysis application, can be downloaded from the ILL's ftp server. Runtime versions, which can be used without an IDL license, are available for Windows and UNIX systems. HDF data files in the NeXus format can be read and produced by LAMP. |
