European XFEL joins EIROforum

Richard Wagner, ILL director, and all EIROFOrum DGs attended the signature ceremony in Culham on 8 November 2010.

At the Autumn 2010 Council meeting of the EIROforum, the partnership of seven European intergovernmental research organisations with large research infrastructures, the Directors General unanimously accepted the European X-Ray Free-Electron Laser Facility (European XFEL), based in Hamburg, Germany, to become its eighth member.
