The future epn campus science building

In September 2012 a 5000 m2 science building will be built on the campus by the ILL and ESRF. It will be a hive of future projects for the large-scale instruments, housing new joint laboratories and scientific partnerships, notably for soft condensed matter, the science library, and more…

The German architects  Nickl & Partner have just been awarded the contract for the design and prime contractorship.

The ILL is responsible for supervising the construction of the building, for which funds have been provided by France's ‘Contrat de Projets Etat-Région’ and the ‘Plan Campus’.
