Description

IMPS (Imaging MultiPlexed Spectrometer) is a multi-analyser detector system for the thermal TAS IN8.

It is intended for imaging the (Q,ω) space. Its design makes it compatible with the classical TAS configuration.

Its strong points are :

  • Gain in instrumental flexibility
  • Gain in count rate of factor 2-3
