Low resolution Biological Diffractometer DB21

The 4-circle low-resolution diffractometer DB21 is used for the investigation of single crystals (usually of biological origin) having very large unit cells. Exploiting the D2O/H2O contrast variation technique it allows the localisation of specific subunits within large macromolecular complexes such as viruses or membrane proteins.
