| Accumulated plots When used with the 'catenate' option, the display grows with time, adding new data to it. |
All displays may be edited, in order to change/customize their appearence (colors, fonts, etc..). This is possible when cliking on the graphical objects (figures, axes, images, surfaces, plots, legends, text...) Also, when selecting a curve, the mouse position is indicated below the graph. You may resize the whole Display Panel, but this is rather slow and its probably better not to have too big displays.
These options are to be used when calling the "display" command: display, Data=<data set>, Name_Data="<Data set Name>", [Options] with: Options=</log,/scatter,/histogram,/polar> </add,/overlay,/catenate,/unactivate,/exact,/no,/delete> <IX=[expr], IY=[expr], Name_IX="...", Name_IY="..." Display may export displays and plots in different formats.
Image: Creates an image file of the selected display/data as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PICT, PNG, TIF and SUN. PostScript: Either sends the display/data for printing or into a PS file as EPS (recommended) or HPGL. Text: The selected display/data set is stored in text form into a file. This file may be read for data analysis.
This feature enables to look at the data values, but not to edit it.
