In May 2009, ILL tested a podcasting solution based on Apple hardware and software. Apple lent us 3 Macbook pro, one xServe, softwares and 3 man/day manpower (MIP program).

Eddy Lelièvre-Berna, Virginie Guérard and myself, we performed a full scale test during the Symposium Francis Tasset (friday 6 March 09). We had four video sources (1 HD camera, 1 DV camcorder, video signals from a PC and a Mac) and only one microphone (not an ideal situation to get a good sound !).

We exercised a major network problem during the second talk and thus only some of the first movies give a good idea of what can be done with a realtime digital TV studio (see images below).
