We would like to draw your attention to the authorship rules for papers resulting from experiments at the ILL.
If the results of your experiment are to be published proper credit must be given to the ILL staff members participating in the experiment and proper mention must be made of the ILL facilities (preferably on the first page). The ILL considers it natural that local contacts who have made a significant contribution to the concept, design, execution, analysis or interpretation of user experiments should be offered the opportunity to be listed as authors in publications.
You should in any case, as a minimum, acknowledge ILL scientists with their ILL affiliation at the end of your paper.
As is specified in the invitation form, you should agree with your Local contact the terms of his/her involvement in the performance of your experiments and in data analysis before coming to the ILL.
We would be grateful if you could pay special attention to this point and thank you in advance for your cooperation.
