Simulator of a TAS instrument with Spin Echo option

vTASSE was developed as a teaching tool for scientist using inelastic neutron scattering combined with spin echo analysis. It is based on the mathematics used within the instrument software TASMAD at the Institut Laue-Langevin.
vTASSE displays the scattering plane and the Q,k_i,k_f triangle, draws the corresponding spectrometer configuration and computes the resolution function of the instrument. Simulated scans are performed and the resulting simulated spectra are plotted for typical dispersion curves.

Despite of its limitations and design flaws, we think vTASSE is a valuable teaching tool and thus we recompiled it for Mac OS X.

The drawing problem of the bottom-left histogram is a known bug and we will addressed soon.
