The inspection of 28 May 2009 examined ILL's "Accident responsiveness and internal emergency plan".
The inspectors found that ILL's crisis management system worked well,  although improvements could be made in the formalisation of the system and the traceability of activities.  In addition, the inspectors noticed that the staff who had been involved without warning could benefit from practice and training.
The inspection recorded two significant issues.
