The inspection of 24 February 2009 was held to check the ILL's compliance with commitments it had made following the safety authorities' (ASN) 2008 inspections. The inspection was based on the ILL's correspondence in response to the ASN's demands. Certain issues were also checked in situ - the experimental areas in particular.
The inspectors considered that the ILL had generally respected the commitments it had made at the end of the 2008 inspections. It seems however that there were several documents that needed to be produced or updated. The inspectors made several requests to this effect. This inspection raised no significant issues
