While the ILL's neutron source has remained essentially unchanged during the lifetime of the Institute, the ILL's instruments and their components have been continually developed and improved to increase their effectiveness.

Labs & Facilities

ILL Biological support at the EMBL outstation

The EMBL laboratory, located close to the ILL Guide Hall, provides basic biochemical, biological, biophysical and crystal mounting facilities, which are available for scientists visiting the ILL. If you require support you should enter your detailed requirements on the form provided.

It should be returned by e-mail to the EMBL one month before your arrival: lab_support(at)embl.fr

The safety officer and the lab support staff must approve your request. You will be notified of the decision by e-mail.
