A new SANS with high resolution and a wide dynamic range

A Small Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) instrument with time-of-flight (TOF) and polarized neutron options with enhanced dynamics q-range. It is designed to allow high magnetic fields at the sample position.

Applications

Applications

The application domain of D33 is that of SANS instruments but it is especially designed

  • to facilitate and expand studies of magnetism
  • to allow a more quantitative analysis of spin incoherent samples
  • time-resolved measurements of irreversible systems such as crystallization, precipitate formation, critical scattering, etc.
