The ILL is dedicated to helping its visiting researchers to make the most of its facilities. Neutron beams and instrument access are provided free of charge for proposers of accepted experiments.

Use of site entrance badge at ILL/ESRF common restaurantStarting from the next reactor cycle in April 2012, your site entrance badge will now be used instead of the canteen card for the payment of meals at the ILL/ESRF common restaurant. This is intended to offer you a better and simplified service. Reception facilities satisfaction surveyIn addition to the 1200 members of staff working on the site, 8000 scientific users and thousands of other visitors and company personnel pass through the epn campus entrance every year. It is the ILL's Site Security Service that is responsible for receiving these visitors. The service is led by Pierre Rivet, who is keen on ensuring the quality of the service provided and who has decided that it is now time to carry out a satisfaction survey. Users are reminded that LAMP, the IDL-based data inspection and analysis application, can be downloaded from the ILL's ftp server. Runtime versions, which can be used without an IDL license, are available for Windows and UNIX systems. HDF data files in the NeXus format can be read and produced by LAMP. |
