The Annual Report, published yearly, gives a selection of the scientific highlights of the ILL and gives an overview of the technical developments and overall activity of the ILL.

The Yellow Book (2008 edition): a guide to the ILL facilities (instrument characteristics, sample environments, laboratories, ...)


The ILL News for Reactor Users, published twice a year, updates our users on the more recent innovation on instrumentation and technical developments, and summarises the most important events occured at the ILL.

The topical brochures: this series of brochures is addressed more to the general public than to our scientific community, and devoted to the application of neutron techniques in different research areas.

The ILL Neutron Data Booklet (pdf, 9 Mb)
Hard copies can be ordered on the publisher's web site or via Amazon (search for "neutron data booklet" ). It costs 30 USD.


All ILL Experimental Reports are now software-archived and accessible via the web server as PDF files. You can search a report by experimental number, instrument, college, date of experiment, title, experimental team or local contact, institut.
