Injection stick for cryostatsSpecial sample sticks are available from a pool on request. Sufficient advance notice to sane(at)ill.fr is required for their reservation and preparation. These equipments are developed, repaired and modified by the Advanced Neutron Environment team. These sample sticks are provided for carrying out gas sorption analysis experiments. The most recent ones feature two injection lines installed in a vacuum chamber with a Thermocoax heater. This avoids the cooling of the injected gas at the level of the nitrogen shield. A permanent flow can be maintained using the two independent capillaries. At present, the maximum injection pressure is 80 bar except for the stick 184ILHP49.
