SALSA

A general view of SALSA

An advanced neutron strain analyser (2005)

SALSA is an advanced neutron strain analyser for large scale engineering applications. It is dedicated to the determination of residual stresses in a broad range of applications in terms of components and materials. It is designed for actually performing diffraction measurements on “real” engineering components and is optimised for stress determination in metallic components.

The video below demonstrates the main features of SALSA and how it operates.
